Go Away Big Green Monster AM Class

Here are pictures from the Go Away Big Green Monster Day that we had on Friday October 30. We started our day making the green monster by glueing all the pieces onto his face. We then went and had a snack. After snack we went into the gross motor room and danced along with the monster mash. After the monster mash we went into the library to listen to the story and retell it using a puppet. Next was to pin the nose onto the monster. The last thing we did was go through the monster obstacle course. We all had a lot of fun!

We are starting to go to the library this week. The MWF class will be going to the library on Mondays. The T/TH morning class will be going on Thursdays. The M-F afternoon class will be going on Mondays.

When we go the the library we will be sitting down to listen to a story and then we will be able to check out a book. Each child will be able to check out 1 book as long as we have the permission form back. In order for your child to check out a book the next week they will need to return their library book. If a library book is lost or damaged there will be a replacement fee.

Pumpkin Carving

Just a reminder that pumpkin carving with Dad's, Uncle's or Grandpa's is Wednesday October 21 from 6-7 pm at the school. Please remember to bring your own pumpkin. We do have carving tools here that you can use to carve your pumpkin however if there is special carving tools that you like please feel free to bring them with you. We will also have a cookie and juice snack available for families after you are done carving your pumpkin. We are looking forward to seeing you:)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See?

Here are some pictures of all of our hard work while making our Brown Bear books. Please have your child read their Brown Bear book to you. They all worked really hard on it and were very excited to bring their books home. On each of the animals we glued on different items to give each animal their own unique texture.
